I hope that over the weekend, your child shared their communication folder with you. If you have not yet seen the folder, please ask your child to see it (there is the French reading journal and an example of the French reading skills we are working on in class).
LIBRARY!
Last week, we visited the library so that students could exchange their books and work on their reading journals. I also asked our librarian to create a "reading list" which she shared with the students. She has selected several novels which are grade-level appropriate and provided little book talks to help students find books which may be of interest to them. We will be visiting the library on a regular basis to encourage students to read and explore a variety of books.
