Curriculum Connections

Our French unit, the "World of Teens" connects very nicely with the health curriculum. Because of this, students will be working on creating their own videos (these are based on the French listening videos we have viewed in class), to discuss a teen challenge and propose possible solutions. Students will be asked to focus on their oral communication such as vocabulary, pace, intonation, expression and sentence structure. We will also be connecting this to our work in drama on the five elements of drama. Ask your child which topics they have brainstormed with their partner(s) for this project! They will be creating an initial presentation to receive both peer and teacher feedback before their final presentations.
